Premium Family Upgrade doesn't work

Hi folk,

 

I would like to delete my account, registered by my Facebook ID and create a new account by my email.

However, at the moment it's not possible to upgrade to Premium Family if you already have an account registered by the same payment method and a testing period.

In Austria (country code AT), you can only subscribe with a three month free trial and therefore you get an error (you cannot register if you have used a testing period before) at the registration process.

 

How can I solve this deadlock?

 

@Spotify: Please provide a membership without a testing period.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop! 

 

If the steps @Mario provided above didn't do the trick, we'd recommend trying the following instead:

  1. Open an incognito or private window in your browser
  2. In the same window, copy/paste this link: https://www.spotify.com/purchase/offer/premium-family/
  3. You'll need to log in to your Spotify account 

Once you've logged in to your Spotify account successfully, you should now see Premium Family in "Your Plan" without the 3 month trial - just fill in your payment details and click Buy Premium Family.

 

Hopefully this should do the trick! Let us know how it goes - we'll be right here if you need more help.

Hi there, same problem here. I need a membership without a testing period for families (Germany). 😕

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community!

 

If it's not your first time with Spotify Premium, you can do what follows to subscribe to Premium Family without the trial period:

 

  1. go to your Spotify account page and click on CHANGE PLAN under 'Your plan'
  2. then, 'SELECT' 'Spotify Premium Family' under 'Available plans'
  3. finally, click on 'CHANGE PLAN' in the 'Change plan' overview

exactly this solution doesn't work, because you can only select "premium family" with the trial period.

Therefore I need a subscription without a trial period.
