Premium Member Paid in Advance Changed to Family Subscription

My Question or Issue

 Hi,

I was a premium member for a long but I changed my subscription to premium for family yesterday. 

Th tricky part is, I paid my whole personal Spotify premium account fee in advance until january, 2019. So, when I changed my Spotify account to family, How much should I be charged?

In my country the fees are as below:

Premium Fee: 13,99 TL/month

Premium for family fee: 20,99 TL/month

So I paid 139,99 TL in January 2018 and got 12 months of premium subscription. Now when changed to family account, It says I ought to pay 20,99 TL next month.

What happens to the money I paid in advance?

I’m not a Spotify employee so I’m not 100% sure, but I paid one month in advance for premium family, and it was just refunded to my credit card.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble upgrading to the family plan. 

 

Spotify should not charge you the entire fee seeing that you have already paid the majority of it in the last payment. If they charge you the full amount of the Family Subscription Plan, see the troubleshooting page here where you should be able to find all of the answers you need.
