Premium for Family not working

Premium for Family not working

I have Premium for Family and have invited one family member. The family member received an invite and accepted.

However, when I play Spotify on my iPhone (fx on my way to work) and the family member starts Spotify on her own IOS device back home in our house, then my Spotify stops working.

What do I do?

Hey! Welcome to the Spotify Community 🙂

It sounds like you have given them your account instead of a link to enter your family subscription. From over here you can click on add member and they’ll have to enter in their own Spotify account. Then you'll be able to listen simultaneously.

Hey Leo,

Thank you for your reponse. 

Found our yesterday that she could play Spotify fine on the IOS device itself, the problem occurred when she connected to our Sonos speaker. Problem was that her Spotify account was not correctly "connected" to the speaker. Now everything works 🙂
