My Question or Issue
I have a Family plan and have set up multiple accounts within it. We use Sonos to stream music on speakers at home; I also listen on my Macbook w/ headphones.
Macbook is connected to Account A .
Sonos is connected to Account B, via iPhone.
Playing music on Sonos when already playing on Macbook interrupts the stream on Macbook, and vice-versa.
The culprit seems to be Spotify Connect -- Spotify app on Macbook shows the Sonos song + speaker(s), but I don't see any way to disable it. I'd be ok without Spotify Connect on Macbook entirely if that was an option.
Given the two devices are on different accounts, this shouldn't be an issue -- that's the whole reason we got a Family plan.
Any suggestions?
