I have a Spotify family account that I’ve had for years. My address was set to my flat number, building name, street, city, country, postcode.
When trying to add a family member today it would not accept the identical address (other family members have been added with the correct address in the past so it seems like a change at Spotify).
It would only accept the building name/address without the flat number. So I had to update the primary account to have an incomplete address (without the flat number). I suspect this will cause credit card billing to fail as there are 90 flats in my building so not having the actual flat number will not match with my address at the bank.
The Spotify customer service people seem powerless to deal with this - they just go around in circles getting nowhere.
has anyone had this issue? Is there a solution?
