Spotify Premium for Family not working.

I have been using Spotify since ages now, it's also one app that I have gone through huge lengths to get it working In India as Spotify hasn't launched in India yet, I have a Malta card for premium and been using it since years without any issues, but few days back when I tried opting for premium and shared with my sister and wife the invite, none of them are able to get it working with an error saying they aren't in the same country as me, which isn't correct. I am assuming it's a corner case but would want a solution by updating their country to mine as by default its always US, if they use my card details it isn't working. So it might need intervention to set their default country as mine and then trying to sign up for premium for family. Would really appreciate help here.
