My Question or Issue

I want to get Spotify Family with my two brothers. They already have individual Spotify Premium accounts, whereas I have Spotify Free.

If I get the Family plan and invite them to join, how do they then transition from their accounts to this new family account? what is the process for transferring, and how can we prevent losing money overall?

You can use an existing account to start or join Premium Family, keeping your own saved music and playlists. Other members of the plan also use their own accounts, so you don’t need to share login details.

Spotify only charges the plan’s manager (the person who started the plan), never invited members. Spotify charges the manager the full amount, regardless of if members join. More information on how Premium Family works can be found in this Spotify Answer.
