Trying to add family memeber

 

My Question or Issue

I am trying to add my partner as a family to my spofity account via my account.

 

I've sent and invite to her email account , when I click on the accept invitation link it takes me to Subscription and payment screen not a login screen , very confusing. 

 

Can someone help me sort this out please , its a bit messy for a company like Spotify.

Thanks for reaching out.


I'd recommend making sure that no account is logged into Spotify.com on your device(s) when your partner tries to accept the invite.

 

They'll need to log into their own account when asked to log in.

I am not logged into this account anywhere now 

 

Login details have not been setup at this point , all I have managed to do is send an invite which links to invite pending .

 

Still kind of confusing really

Further to my  reply , I like to add there is an Your invite code  after clicking on the text link I don't see where I'd need to use the code

If the family member doesn't have an account yet, they'll need to sign up at https://spotify.com/signup first.

 

After they've done that, they should be able to accept the invite by accessing the invite link and then logging in and filling out some required info.
