My Question or Issue

I just switched my family plan from Apple Music to Spotify because I preferred Spotify's playlists.  Are you telling me I can't add Spotify to my 7 year olds device??? If that's the case, why wouldn't that have been CLEARLY SPECIFIED on the sign up page?  Please tell me i'm missing something here.
