Upgraded to family spotify..family username now a number! How to change?

Son had spotify but has now  joined family accountand he has lost his username and been allotted an 11 digit number.

How can I change this to his name please or contact spotify to get them to change please.

Hello @speedotrunks and welcome to the Spotify Community!

If your son's account is linked to Facebook it can be a temporary glitch while Spotify tries to recover the data to show the username.

What he can try to do is log out and log back into his account to see if something changed.

Let me know how it goes.

he wasnt patient enough for that

i removed him from plan and sent him a new link to a different email and that worked
