unable to add a separate family member to premium

I have followed the instructions to add my daughter to family premium.

She gets the link and creates her own account with her email, verifies the address and creates her own password.

She picks up my username ( somehow ) and plays her music which 'overides' my music. It's as though since we share the same username, with 2 different email addresses, it treats it as one. the net result is that we can't play music at the same time

We'd suggest you start off by taking a look at this Spotify Answer and make sure that you and your daughter are logged in to the correct accounts.


If you both use Facebook to log in, it's possible that you end up logging in to the wrong account by mistake. You can find out how to solve this here
