My Question or Issue

Hi, I recently signed up for a free premium trial and it said I would not be billed until December. I also tried verifying that I was a student and had to submit my transcript because the initial verification didn't work. When I was approved for the student account, I accepted the change and thought that the payment amount would update to $5/month but I wouldn't get charged until December, as that is what is stated in the policy (see image attached). However, I got charged $5 right away. Can someone please help me address this? I would like to get the $5 refund and not be charged until after I've completed the free trial. Thank you.

I think it's best to contact Spotify using this online form

 

They are able to take a look at the issue backstage. 🙂
