My Question or Issue

 I have applied for the Spotify Student plan and after going through the process, it said that I was verified until 11/26/19. But I am getting charged for $16.01. I am the only person on this plan and under the subscription and payment tab, it says that I am still under the family plan until it is renewed on 2/1/19. Can I not change my plan?

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out.

 

In order to benefit from the student discount, you will have to leave your Family plan first. To do so, just head here and under Premium for Family you will see the option to MANAGE PLAN

 

Once you've done that, just make sure your student discount is active by checking the status of your subscription on the same page. If you're on standard Premium, then you need to activate the student discount again here.
