Who is a qualifying student?

Question: Is there an age requirement for the Spotify student premium plan?

This would appear to be a question that could be answered with a simple YES or NO.

But with Spotify, nothing is ever that simple. I have found three different sources of information.

In a thread over in the "subscriptions" section, @Billy-J, who is a Rock Star and Spotify expert, wrote: "In order to eligible for Premium for Students, you would need to be at least 18 years of age." The thread is here:

And I have attached a screenshot.

But on one of the information pages for the student plan, it says:

Am I eligible for this plan?

If you are a student enrolled at a US Title IV accredited college or university, and above the age of 18, then yes.

You can find that page here:

And I have attached a screenshot.

So, let's see here... in plain English, "at least 18 years of age" and "above the age of 18" do NOT have the same meaning.

If you have to "above the age of 18," then that means you have to be at least 19 years of age.

And it gets even better. The official terms and conditions of Premium for Students can be found here:

And that page has no age requirement.

The student terms and conditions page does not contain the word age, or the word eighteen, or the word nineteen, or the number 18, or the number 19, anywhere in the text.

So... which is it, Spotify?

For Premium for Students:

Do you have to above the age of 18, as it says in your FAQ?

Or do you have to be at least age 18, as stated by your expert @Billy-J?

Or is there no age requirement, since it is not stated in your terms and conditions?
