I have Spotify Premium but keep getting 1-3 ads between songs. Can someone help/show me how to stop this. Thanks. Alan ..

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Spotify Community.

While the Spotify app doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience of Premium subscribers, some podcasts on the platform may include third-party advertising, host-read endorsements or sponsorship messages in their episodes. There’s more info about this here.

However, if you're listening to ads while listening to music, please double-check in Settings > Account that your plan shows as Premium. If it doesn't, log out and log back in with the details you used to subscribe to Premium.

If that didn't do the trick, the next step would be a clean reinstallation of the Spotify app following these steps. Keep in mind that you'll need to re-download any downloaded music and podcasts after reinstalling the app.
