Don’t Netflix my Spotify (leave premium as premium - without adds)

Just saw that one TikTok abt Spotify maybe making premium with ads and requiring you to pay more to get adless streaming - kind of similar to Netflix’s tiers of membership or wtv. 

YALL NEED TO NOT DO**bleep**. WE ARE GOING INTO A RECESSION AND NORMAL PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD IT, NOR WILL THEY TOLERATE IT.

I saw this TikTok as well and after doing some online sleuthing, I do not see anything that leads me to believe that Spotify is seriously considering introducing ads to premium. Last month, some users reported a bug, and this has since been corrected. Article here - Why Do I Have Ads on Spotify Premium? What We Know

I think this is a classic case of people misreporting information as fact which causes a panic. Not that I don't see Spotify trying to pull this off in the future, but for now, I wouldn't stress unless something official comes from Spotify.
