Match Tidal's Artist Payout (or make artist pay even higher!)

Artists and music appreciators have been long asking for Spotify to pay artists more. As a Spotify customer for nearly a decade, its clear that I enjoy the Spotify platform. But the the company fails compared to it competitors in the area of Artist Payouts. I am deeply disappointed in Spotify's meager Artist Payouts, especially given the wealth of the company and it's CEO (that wouldn't have been possible without artists' content). 

My idea is for Spotify for AT LEAST match the industry leader in Artist Payouts - which, as of 2025 is Tidal.

Should Spotify refuse to fairly financially compensate artists by matching or surpassing Tidal's Artist Payouts, I will take my business elsewhere and advocate for others to do the same.
