New icon design (Jan 2022)

I noticed this change on Spotify for Android version 8.6.98 today (21 Jan 2022):

Home tab: The notification bell, the History icon and the Settings cogwheel

Now Playing View: All of it

My guess is that these changes were made with accessibility in mind, and I'm all for it.

I'm curious to see what other changes users have noticed on the app, maybe on other platforms, too.

It looks like these new icons are rolling out server side so users might not see these right away. I don't see them yet.

I thought that the current icons were too thin so I am glad they fixed that and addressed that in the article as well.
