Publishing continuous songs to Spotify

Hi, I'm going to release my first songs soon to Spotify. I haven't chosen the distribution platform yet.

The question I have is that my three songs are all continuous. Meaning that the first one goes smoothly into the next one and so fourth.

I know this works in Spotify on selected albums but when I add the songs to a playlist there is a cut in the end of every song (there're not continuous anymore). Is this something that I need to tell Spotify when I'm uploading or is this automatic?

What is this fenomena called (so I can google some more on the subject)?
