Question Of The Week: Who In Your Life Feels Like A Song - And Which One?

Hey folks!

Who in your life feels like a song — and which one? 🎵

For me, it’s my best friend. The song that instantly brings her to mind is “Better Together” by Jack Johnson.

We live in different countries, but she’s the person I go to when I want to talk about the deep meanings of life — and even the thoughts I wouldn’t dare share with anyone else. There’s something about the rhythm of that song — calm but cheerful — that feels exactly like being around her.

Now it’s your turn: who in your life feels like a song, and why?

Can't wait to read more about your people!

For me, it's my younger sibling — and the song that makes me think of them is "Send Me On My Way" by Rusted Root. Every time I hear it, I can't help but smile because it captures their energy: carefree, adventurous, and always bringing joy to everyone around them. It's like the soundtrack of their personality!

Love this question! For me, it’s my sibling - they’ve always been the steady, uplifting presence in my life. The song that reminds me of them is ‘Brighter Than the Sun’ by Colbie Caillat. It has that positive, light-filled energy that matches the way they show up for everyone around them. Funny how a song can capture a whole person’s vibe.

For me No Excuses by Alice in Chains will always remind me of long drives on the highway as a teenager with my dad. Blue sky and golden crops stretching on the side of the road. Sweet nostalgia...

The track I am memory by The Poison Oaks. It reminds me all the summer vacation memory and how much I have grown up with my childhood friends

I'm here because of my dad. He raised me to be independent, empathetic, and a capable leader. Always welcoming me home with a hearty meal, as I went off to shape the world.

He's 89 now, has Dementia, Parkinson's and is fully dependent. My brother is his primary carer, I'm the helper, giving him his main meals every day. Each day I'm blessed, to be here with him.

This song is for my Dad

Тексты песен, которые я пишу, все взяты из моей жизни, моих мыслей о жизни и людей.

Such a beautiful question! For me, it’s my sister, she feels like the song “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles. No matter what's going on, she’s the one who brings warmth, optimism, and that sense of “everything will be okay.” The vibe of the song matches her perfectly: gentle, uplifting, and quietly powerful.

Raised by my grandparents, they were always listening to Frank Sinatra and this was one of their favourite songs. This is for them.❤️

For me, it’s my grandma she feels like “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Every time I hear it, I think of her warm smile, her stories, and the way she always finds joy in the little things. That song just radiates the same calm, loving energy she brings into my life.

my ex-boyfriend, but in a bad way... never associate your favorite songs with someone

For me, it’s my sister, and the song is “Home” by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. No matter where life takes us or how busy things get, she always feels like a grounding place I can return to. The song has that warm, familiar energy that reminds me of conversations that don’t need explanations and laughs that come easily.
