Question of the week: What is your favorite TV theme song?

It is 'the official lazy season' so I believe most of you spend a lot of time bathing in the sun, pouring drinks, partying all around 🎉 and lastly - watching sitcoms. This never gets old. No matter the season - there's really nothing better than a good television theme song.  Which is your favorite one? 

Here is mine. Anytime I hear this song I feel relaxed, I feel calm, I feel like somebody will always be there for me! This song is a really cool little pop tune!

Because.. 'When it hasn't been my day, my week, my month or even my year... 
They'll be there for me!'

These are always good to listen to because, for me at least, I get caught in the nostalgia and a rollercoaster of emotions.

As my favorite TV series is the famous "Twin Peaks" realized by David Lynch, my preferred TV soundtrack is coming from it. I could have chosen different songs but I will stay with the Main Theme composed by Angelo Badalamenti.

This isn't a relaxing song by any means, nor is the show..BUT the theme song for Mad Men is paired so darn well with the general mood of the show I just had to share. On top of all that, RJD2 is a DJ I've been following since I was a kid so that's extra cake on the icing (because the cake is the good part, everyone knows that, right?!).

Oh God, so freaking many.

If I had to pick just one, it would have to be the Dr. Who theme tune. When I was in high school I'd pretty much listen to that thing and play it on the keyboard 100 times a day, every time somebody online would release a new tweak of one of the 80s  or 70s  versions of the theme. 

Also in the world of sci-fi: The Star Trek TOS and TNG themes, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy  (BBC mini-series) theme

Then in the world of sitcoms: Cheers, The Simpsons, Futurama, How I Met Your Mother, That 70s Show 

and lastly in dramas: Magnum, P.I. (the original), Knight Rider (also the original), & Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I don't think I have a favorite theme that isn't a song itself. I love the Arcane theme song "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons, and "You're Dead" from What We Do in the Shadows.
