What a great opportunity

What a great opportunity

Even if all 615 million users were only single user premium accounts, that is 615 million per month in gains. For a total of $7,380,000,000 annual earnings gain. This after an almost 25% drop in workforce cost. It is a disgusting show of corporate greed. If all users of the 615 million accounts were being charged the same 10.99, that is a whopping $6,758,850,000 per month. For a staggering $81,106,200,000 annual earnings. Now lets pretend half of all 615 million accounts are free accounts with ads... that is still a very impressive $3,379,425,000 monthly for a total of $40,553,100,000 annual before they tack on ad revenue. Wish i could review their operatings costs, im sure after costs and salaries they are clearing $20,000,000,000. Can't wait to see what kind of yacht Daniel Ek feels like he earned by shafting people.

C'est la vie.

nice topic

All these numbers are public my friend. Sadly it’s not as sensational and wildly greedy as you might think.

No conspiracies.
Happy reading!

Thank you sharing.

No problem.

It’s a pretty interesting part of the competitive landscape for subscription music streaming services. It’s pretty nuanced, despite the blanketed, boilerplate response Spotify put out. Much more to it.
