unable to see friends activity on macbook air

For several months (pretty much years at this point), my Spotify friend's feed has not been updating. It only shows one friend I have, while it should have a dozen others. I have tried every solution in the book, and nothing has worked. Several of my other friends have also been having this issue where they can only see 1 of their friend's activity. I have contacted the support team and they told me to hop on here to speak about this issue as they are unable to help, This is very infuriating as the support should be able to help but they cannot resolve this issue.
