My Question or Issue
I understand there is alot of hub-bub about the Christmas song of "Baby It's Cold Outside" - everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I was NOT happy to see the song in my Holiday playlist disabled and unable to play. If I PAY for Premium and have that song in my playlist - why am I not able to play it? There can be songs about shooting, killing, drugs and whatnot but this 1944 song cannot be played??
Hey there! Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community for help!
It sounds like this song isn't available anymore. This could have several reasons. Read more about that here. Also, Local Files might be a feature worth checking out in this case.
Hope you're having a lovely day! :)
@Huib Hi,
I do know you are not a staff member, but it seems you have been here a while, would spotify actually remove the song because of the controversy? Also any way we can gain access to listening to the song again?
Thanks,
Jack
Hi @JackD_,
Sorry for the late reply here! Spotify wouldn't remove songs because of controversy, but the right holder might decide to take down a track, album or an artist page. If you have any questions about this, I recommend getting in touch with the rights holder. Just let me know if you've got any other questions.
Thanks, happy holidays! :)
Huib
