Does "Your Music" sync accross devices?

Hi,

 

I'm relatively new to Spotify and have a premium account. I've just started building my library by "adding" songs and albums. However, I use 3 different devices (Mac, iPhone and iPad) to listen to Spotify and the Library is different on all devices.

 

Is this the intended behaviour? It seems to me be the Library should be tied to a Spotify-account and thus be the same on all devices connected to that account.

Hey Jelmer!

 

That's strange! Your Music should be synced across your devices. Could you please make sure your devices are connected to internet and are all logged into the same account?

Thanks for the quick reply! As far as I can see, all devices are using the same account and are indeed connected to the internet.

 

And thanks for confirming that it should indeed sync.

 

Is there anything I can do to further diagnose the problem?

Yes, I'm Dutch! :) What you can try to do is to logout and log back in on your devices. Let me know if that solved anything.

Hello! Your music library should sync across devices, for example, I have Spotify on three different devices, and the same playlists synch between all of them. Spotify even says when one device is already in the midst of playist a playlist already. Does this help?

Hi,

 

I seem to be having the same issue as Jelmer. I use my spotify premium on my work computer, my cell phone and my personal computer. It updates my song library on my phone, but does not update it on my personal computer. It does show my recently played songs from when I was listening on my work computer, but they are not added to the library playlist. I have turned off/on my wifi and signed in/out of my account.

My two devices have not synced even tough I logged out and back in again. What can I do or what is wrong
