Hi everyone,

 

I thought I would start a thread to see if anybody has any feedback or suggestions for Playlists.net on the web or in our Spotify app.

 

We've recently launched some new features and enhancements to our service but are always looking for ways we can improve.

 

We're launching new versions of our iOS and Android apps soon so I'll open anther thread for those once they are live, for now it would be great to get feedback for the Spotify app and website though.

Think I have picked up the problem here. 

 

Taking this page for an example: http://playlists.net/the-soundtrack-to-october-2013

 

Pressing the green "Play Now" button sends an internal app-link to the Spotify client, but your client is too old to have support for those apps so that will be why you get an error. 

 

However, if you scroll down to where you can see the playlist below on the page, and click on the play button in the top left corner, does that play for you?

As of two weeks ago whenever I log in through Facebook, Playlists.net simply does not recognize me. Inside the url at the top of the page it says: referrer=popup_firstvisit&registration_type=facebook&code=AQBD9M. 

 

I've got something like 20 playlists on there that I update regularly. All of a sudden, nothing.

 

I have emailed support and they NEVER respond.

 

What a joke this has become.

 

I've deleted the app on Facebook and reinstalled. Facebook recognizes me but not Playlists.net.

 

I am besides myself in anger. Seriously. A non-supportive support section is beyond belief.

Do you have two step authorization or login approvals turned on inside Facebook? 

Spotify too has issues sometimes with those additional security measures.

I can show you  what my privacy settings show on Facebook and you tell me what is missing.

Hi, apologies we are experiencing some issues with Facebook login. I'll update this thread as soon as it's fixed.

Hey guys,

 

Over the past two weeks I've noticed that whenever I click on a playlist on Playlists.net or even a single song for that matter, what I get on my Spotify browser is "link not found."

 

Grant it I am using a legacy Spotify browser which I CAN'T update because of the age of my computer.

 

That being said.

 

My question is: If Spotify has no problems getting commerical spots to run on legacy browsers, why can't Playlists.net get their coding to work with legacy Spotify browsers?  How hard can it be to write some code to recognize these outdated browsers.

 

I am using Spotify version 0.6.6.10.gbd39032a on a Mac PowerPC non-Intel.
