Hi,
I know it's the wrong part of the forum but the correct ones are just filled
with spam. A couple of days ago Spotify would randomly change songs to stuff
I'd never listen to and I also noticed two playlists had been deleted.
Now I see under the account settings that my email and personal identity number
has been changed, I went to the support section to see what I could do and since
I can't change the email I had to contact Spotify through a form and so I did that
and I get "Thank you for contacting us blabla we will be contacting you at INSERT-FAKE-EMAIL-ADDRESS"
What's the point if they're just gonna send instructions or help to an email that belongs to the person who hijacked my account? Really don't know what to do here guys.
Hey, @Stevegaija -
Please change your email address back to yours through the following steps:
After that, please contact Spotify directly through this contact form again- it would be better if you could mention your own email address in the form, just for safety.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and the support team will be able to lend you a hand.
Thank you :)
