Spotify won’t ask for friends list

im trying to use the find friends feature, but when I click on it, it opens the Facebook page to connect asking if I want to continue, I click continue, but then it brings me right back to Spotify without doing anything. 

Ive tried disconnecting my Facebook, and reconnecting, and redownloading the app and logging out many times. From what I can tell from other posts, when Spotify asks for my data from Facebook, it is only asking for my name and birthday & email, and not asking for my friends list. I’ve looked at this from both Facebook and Spotify, and can’t figure out how to get Spotify to ask to access my friends list.

I would recommend visiting your account overview page at Spotify.com.

When you're in, please scroll down and find the "Privacy" tab to your left.

Then, click on the "Process My Facebook Data" tab and turn it on.

If it's already on, unclick and turn it back on.

Give it a bit time to adjust and try visiting the app again for any changes.
