Thanks, it sucks a bit that you are not introduced how to post ideas

Indeed. It took me about an hour to figure it out.

Does Spotify detail this somewhere?  I just signed up to post a "feature request" which is in "Ideas" I see and I was REALLY confused for awhile and how to do so.  Thanks for the response!!!

Can't post ideas without earning brownie points?

Than's sounds like being at school all over! Only there I didn't pay!
Perhaps somone who has earned brownie points can sponsor my request below please?
Can Spotify please provide an option to tailour the home screen so the user can position icons by tapping, holding and moving them. to taste? I don't have any use for the cluttered browse page. The possibility would ideally be available on tablet, smartphone and pc."
Spotify's weak point has to be "search" which forces the user to UTube and Google BEFORE being able to find stuff on Spotify. It's a bummer.

Not having enough privileges to post my idea separately, I'm going to post my observation/idea here in the meantime.

I'm an artist and a listener, so I have a foot in both camps. I understand the free tier needs to be substantially less good than paid, or the whole model falls apart. But what strikes me as really unfair to artists on the Android app is, if I go to an artist and hit "play shuffle", it immediately starts playing "artist radio". More often than not the first tune that plays is not by that artist. Subsequently, two thirds are also by other unrelated artists.

For instance, yesterday I went to check out House and Land, having heard them on WFMU. They've basically earned that by releasing music that was good enough for me to want to explore further; so it's unfair that the benefit of that first stream should go to another artist entirely.
