Why do the Harry Potter scores not have John Williams as the artist?

Hi,

I noticed that the scores to the first three Harry Potter films (Sorceror's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Azkaban) have the artist labeled as "Harry Potter Soundtrack."  However the artist is John Williams.

Is he not getting royalties because of this mislabel?

By the way, Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows all have the correct composer label.

That's pretty unlikely. The record labels upload metadata for their music and I see that details on Amazon are the same by the way.

@ Well then why do the other Harry Potter scores (except goblet of fire) have the correct composer labeled under them?

Ask the record label.

The payments from Spotify almost certainly go direct to the label who then distribute to performers and composers in accordance with whatever contracts they have so really, it doesn't matter too much how the music is shown in Spotify as regards royaliries.
