Anyone else notice a change in album sorting with v1 artists albums?

Am I just imaging that the sort order has changed on 

https://api.spotify.com/v1/artists/{id}/albums? 

I think a few weeks ago it started sorting by album type first instead of release date.  So now if include_groups=single,album it gives me all of the albums with more recent first, then all of the single, most recent first.

I could be imaging it, but I thought it sorted everything by release date, mixed types in the past...
