My Question or Issue:
Hi! We would like to build an app that operates in the same way that the Noon Pacific app works. When using Noon Pacific, the user does not need to have the Spotify app installed on their mobile device.
How is that achieved, as all SDKs say the user needs to have the Spotify app installed on their phone?
Thank you!

Hey @amanbirdi, always happy to help!
When using the current iOS/Android SDK, the user would need to have the app installed. You can also use the Web API to control Spotify on other devices: https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/web-api/reference/player/. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to give me a shout!
Have a great day and the best of luck with your project,

Hey @amanbirdi, thanks for posting on the Community!
As I've also mentioned in the Private Message you've sent, right now, this SDK is depreciated and no longer available. There's more information about this here: https://developer.spotify.com/community/news/2018/09/14/updates-mobile-platform/. You can use the SDKs on developer.spotify.com which support both Free and Premium users. You can also check out the Web Playback SDK for playback in webbrowsers.
If you have any questions, feel free to post a new thread here!
Have a great day,

Hey! Thank you so much!
Replying back to your PM here too.
So it 100% looks like the user needs to have the Spotify app installed on their phone to achieve what we want to achieve, right?
