I was an Tidal user and i made an inquiry to get bigger buttons for the desktop app and they changed it in few weeks!
When you hover over the play button in the music list, you need exactly to hit that button. The biggest fail is the fast forward line to jump to a special part of the track, i miss it very often by clicking. Tidal made an update for this, i hope you too!
For example you click at the place where the red point is, the song will not start, because you are too far away from the play button.
So please strech the range of these buttons!
Spotify UI elements can be resized like on a regular webpage. Ctrl+mouse wheel or from the menu.
Website != desktop app!
It would be easier, for older people too, that the mouse hover area is little bit bigger than the button or line itself.
At least, when you stretch the website, the hover area will not bigger than the button. So at least it will be not fixed. Please watch my screenshot in my general post.
This is a good idea, but not the right place to post it.
The right place to post ideas is: Homepage of this Community โ the Ideas button.
Well "!=" to a degree.
I believe Spotify desktop is pretty much still a (glorified? villified?) webpage.
It feel and behave like an Electron app that is pretty much a framework that allow developers to build desktop app using html/css/js.

You can still zoom in and out on the Desktop app.
Is it a perfect implementation? Not really. Spotify was a bit lazy in the implementation but it's not too bad.
At least they implemented decent keyboard shortcuts.
Not very accessibility friendly but better than most.
I'm writing a Remote client for windows and one of its goal is specifically aim to simplify the UI and make it compatible with the Xbox Adaptive Controller (Xbox Adaptive Controller | Xbox)
This doesn't help really, i'll missclick anyway. Of course the hidden acceptable click button is same stretched like the zoom you made in this app. But that doesn't fix it, and it looks bad when you made the overview zoomed.
At least i posted the idea on the other website, a vote for this is welcome ๐
