How to know if an artist has a distributor or no?

I am doing a research on data from Spotify API. 

Is there any possibility to find out if an artist has a music distributor or he is on Spotify on his own? If yes, how?

Hi, I want to find out how distributors can help artists promote their music. If their help is significant. But I need to know if the artist has a distributor, so I suppose I'm done as I don't have these informations.

Yes you must do a trademark take down on apple music for that song, and they will email you with the distributor of that song. Otherwise the industry tries to keep it a secret.
