Is it legal to change the tempo of the music ?

Hi,

I would like to make a commercial application (on the appstore/playstore) which would use the spotify API to play a song but with a different tempo than the original song.

the applications 'the amazing slowdowner' and 'djay2' have this feature, so i know it is possible to implement.

But is it legal ?

Does modifying the playback speed of a song falls under the "Content Alteration" part mentionned in your ToS ?
