Hi – we requested a scope extension about a week ago, but haven't heard back anything yet. Is there anything we can do to help the process along?

 

We want to add streaming to the website (so that users don't need to download the app to listen to a track), so to that end we want to request the streaming scope.

 

We're still at the testing stage – however, it seems like even for us as developers, adding the streaming scope doesn't work. We got back an error like "Invalid scope".

 

I recall we used to have access to all scopes as developers, but judging by the UI of the Spotify Dashboard and the fact that Users and Access is greyed out, maybe now that we had some other scopes approved, even as the developers of the app, we need to have the streaming scope allowed before we can actually stream?

 

In short - we'd like to test first and add streaming as a scope for our app. Anything we can do to help obtain an answer quicker?
