Retrieving "What's new" items via API

Hi all. The "What's New" feature currently available in the mobile app is pretty useful. I like being able to see new songs/albums from followed artists right as they're pushed into Spotify without having to wait for Friday's Release Radar. I curate a weekly new music playlist, and this is very handy.

However, the mobile interface is not really the best for my use case. It takes me six clicks to add one of the new songs into a playlist, then one swipe right and four additional clicks to add the next song, and so on. I'm wondering if there is any API endpoint I can leverage in order to create a service that will run daily, picking up the new singles/albums on my user's custom "What's New" feed, and adding them to an existing playlist. Any ideas? Thanks!

I think you came up with a very neat idea!

Sad thing is, I don't have any ideas either.

But anyone would be willing to come up, I'd be really glad. It'd help the new songs from artists.
