Search criteria all results and exact title name

I'm not a developer, but in order to find a track I've heard on Spotify I've decided to search for it with Python + Spotipy.

track = "Thursday"
results = sp.search(q="track:" + track, type="track")

So far so good. However, that JSON doesn't return the artist in question, only 14 tracks with "Thursday" in the title.  I do a search on Spotify that list is much longer. 500+ If I keep scrolling...

And secondly is there a way of restricting search results as exact matches?

Just searching for just "Thursday" and NOT return results like "Thursday Thunder" or "Thursday Night".
