When you check you bank statment does it show the charges as pending or dedcuted?

I am having the exact same problem with paying via paypal - funds are neither pending or deducted from account

That is odd. Could you try and sign up again on a computer, but before you do clear the cache on the device?
Once that is done let me know if you are able to process the payment 🙂
