My Question or Issue

I'm getting ads playing music now? I never us3d to and shouldn't be getting them.

If you do have Premium, please doublecheck if you are logged in correctly.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

 

One of the main features of the Premium subscriptions is not getting ads during music playback. However, if you're listening to a podcast, the episode could include some sponsorship added by the podcaster.

 

Podcasts usually include some advertising since the early days on different platforms, and continues to be true today, including on Spotify. Therefore, even as a Premium user, you may receive advertising or sponsored messages when playing a podcast as they are already included in the audio file uploaded to our platform.

 

Keep in mind that as a Premium user, you still enjoy an ad-free music listening experience.

 

In case the ads you're getting are not from podcasts, but when playing music tracks, it would be great if you could you record a short video where we can take a better look and investigate further. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

I noticed it says 'get premium' in the menu but I'm logged into a premium acct. I've a reinstall twice to no avail.
