After joining a family Premium, how do I cancel my previous Premium plan?

Solved!

After joining a family Premium, how do I cancel my previous Premium plan?

I've had my own premium plan for years. Now I've joined a family plan that my spouse manages. Do I need to cancel my previous plan to avoid double billing or does that happen automatically?

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

The billing switches automatically for Spotify users who already have a Premium Individual subscription and then join a Premium Family plan, so you don't need to cancel anything.

After accepting the invite to join your spouse's Premium Family plan, you won't be charged for Premium Individual any further; instead, all payments will be made by the Premium Family plan manager.
