Annual Premium Already Paid For, Wanting To Go To Family Plan

Solved!

Annual Premium Already Paid For, Wanting To Go To Family Plan

I paid for my annual Premium account a couple months ago.  I'm now thinking about getting the family plan.

A couple questions associated with this.
1) Can I pay the difference in one lump sum (like the Annual Premium account)?
2) If that's not an option (which it really should be), is it another 14.99 per month, which would really defeat having a family plan for year?  I would really just be paying for another premium account (I'm only adding one account), which is around 9.99 (I think) per month.

I'm really trying to mitigate the amount of times I need to contact Customer Service.  Maybe iron this out prior to creating another account.

Thank you,

Kevin

Hey @kevin_m_fischer,

Welcome to the community!

If you upgrade your subscription to Premium for Family, your remaining time on the deal will be converted to Family Premium. This means that your renewal date will be brought forward, and you won't be charged again until it runs out.

Ensure that you are the one to sign up for Premium for Family so that you can take advantage of the remaining time left on your annual subscription.

Let me know if you have any questions. Happy listening 🙂

Just for clarification @Noah-S:
Say I have $300 left on my personal Premium account.  I switch over to family.  Spotify will use the $300, then bill me monthly when that runs out?
