My Question or Issue

 

Hi -

been premium subscriber for 3 years but now Spotify no longer works.

 

Issues started with me getting hassled with upgrade to Duo reminders. I live alone and am the only one using my subscription, albeit from a smart phone and a tablet. Now, after weeks of reminder hassles, the app refuses to play anything.

 

As a second issue, there is no way to switch the support in the app to English. I constantly get a German site just because I'm in Germany.

 

Question to community: is there a way to bring my premium subscription back to life or should I see the issue as a friendly reminder to cancel my subscription and get music elsewhere?

As a first step, can you please let us know the following:

  • Your OS version, and Spotify version.
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the app?
  • What happens when you try to play something? Are you getting any error message?

Please note that the language in your app is determined by your device's language settings. If you're trying to change the language of our website, you can do so at the bottom right corner of the page.
