Being billed twice each month

I was billed twice per month after upgrading to a Family plan:

Could you please refund the double charges and make sure that these are corrected?

If you received multiple charges from Spotify on the same day, and this is the first time that it has happened, then there are two possible explanations. The first is that one of the charges you are seeing is a pre-authorization charge. Usually the pre-auth charge is a smaller charge and it should get dropped within a few business days on its own.

If, however, the charge is not a pre-auth, then it’s possible that upon subscribing the confirmation button was hit more than once fast enough to allow a second transaction to go through. No worries, this second charge will just get added onto your account as if you "pre-paid" for an extra month. You can confirm this by visiting your subscription page and checking that your renewal date is ~2 months out

If you’re seeing multiple charges from Spotify on different days then you may have a second account. Fret not, this happens more often than you might think, and we’ve even got a handy flow-chart to help you solve this conundrum.
