Being double charged by iTunes and Spotify for 1 account

Being double charged by iTunes and Spotify for 1 account

Reciently notice my credit card statement has charges from Itunes for my spotify subscription, but for the last 5 months I have also been getting charged by spotify as well.  This customer support system is terriable and completely unhelpful.  I can not find any way to contact any one at spotify other than this stupid comunity message board.

Looks like you signed up Premium through another company.

If you subscribed to Premium through a company other than Spotify, for example with iTunes, we suggest reaching them out directly for any payment questions instead of Spotify Support.

Your right, I did sign up through iTunes and they have been charging me since I signed up in 2016. However, 5 months ago Spotify started charging me ALSO. For the same account. 2 charges on my credit card.. 1 from iTunes and 1 from Spotify. As I signed up through iTunes, that charge makes sense, they should be charging me. I didn’t sign up through Spotify, therefore Spotify should NOT be charging me.

In that case, please contact Spotify Support directly through this contact form so we can help you out;

 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and the support team will be able to lend you a hand.
