Buying Spotify Premium e-gift cards on a Canadian website with a US credit card

I want to buy Spotify Premium for my friend in Canada, and I plan to buy a Spotify Premium e-gift card off of a Canadian website using a Visa gift card purchased in the US. Would the Premium be applicable for my friend?

Since the website you'd like to purchase it from isn't run by Spotify, I'd recommend reaching out to them.

Generally, Spotify (e)Gift Cards can only be redeemed in the country where they were bought in.
