My Question or Issue

 

I want to change my Family Premium Membership to Individual and keep my daughters music. Also when I check Receipts for my Premium payment details etc payment shows 0.00 but I pay £14.99 Andy advice much appreciated. I would like o contact Spotify CS but have been unable to other than an online chat which I now can’t find access to contact them and at the time I previously found it I was unable to type in the reply box. Please help!

I'd love to help. To confirm, you want to know if you cancel your Premium for Family plan (as an owner) will your daughter keep her saved content - and why your receipt shows 0.00?

Well yes that’s what I wanted to do but now I have no idea what’s going I
cancelled but it’s still there not sure if it will run until the direct
payment runs out but it’s very odd! Says Premium Family Plan but can find
no way to either change bank card details or get hold of a human! ##-

Thanks for confirming - no worries, I'm a real human being ready to help.

 

Since you canceled your Premium for Family plan, everyone on the plan (your daughter, and you) will be reverted to Spotify Free on the next billing date (you can find your billing date in your account overview page) - so you won't lose your Premium right away.

 

Also, your daughter will not lose any saved content when she reverts to the Free version of Spotify.

 

To answer your last question, when you cancel a subscription - you won't be able to change or remove your payment method until you revert to Spotify Free. After that, the payment method on file will be removed automatically.
