Can I redeem my gift card for premium before my current premium expires?

Hello, I currently have a premium subscription that I paid for with a gift card that expires in a few weeks. I bought a new gift card to redeem when the current one runs out but is there any way that I might be able to renter the new one so that my subscription flows into the next paid for premium without switching back to free and losing my saved playlists etc?

thanks for posting !

If you're using a gift card as a payment method you might need to wait till it runs out before being able to renew with the same payment method of a gift card.

However, it doesn't hurt trying 😃

Log into your account overview at Spotify.com, scroll down and on the left side of the screen click on "Reedem".

Enter the code and see if you're able to reedem it before the other one expires.

I can confirm that it does work to redeem another gift card whilst still using the previous one and you do not need to re save/ download your playlists again.
