Can't pay via credit card?

I have received a notification saying that I (and my family members) have been demoted to free account due to a problem with the payment. I thought there may be a problem with my credit card and tried to re-enter my credit card. It was no avail.

The system does not accept any of my credit cards (tried 3 so far). It says there might be problem with my credit card or its supplier, while my credit cards are working flawlessly online with other companies.

What might be the problem here?

I still have the problem and it is pretty annoying not being able to get any answer. I am a Spotify user for a long time and I had no idea that Spotify would leave its user behind. I cannot listen music for more than a week...

I have faced the exact same problem with you, and still could not figure out. Hope spotify will mitigate it soon.
