Can't see what's playing when using Spotify connect on TV

Device: iPhone 11 / Samsung TV

 

Hey everyone,

lately I've been having issues visualising on the TV what I'm playing when streaming from my phone. I turn on the TV, access the Spotify app, then take my phone, choose a song, stream it on TV, but the TV screen doesn't change - it stays on the main page instead of showing me what's being played.

Anyone know how to fix this?

First of all, I recommend that you take a look at this following support article in other to get some useful tips you could try:

If for any reason the issue persists, let me know and bring me some additional information about what's happening. If possible tell me what is the exact version of the Spotify app that you're running on the affected devices and the OS information (version/number). Any photos/screenshots you can share with me would be useful but be careful to not share sensitive information.

If there are any other pieces of information that you think would be relevant, tell me, please.
